PS - I know, coolant reservoir has since been topped off

Very nice! Does that gauge install use the obd2 port?

Went for an early morning mountain run. Man, what a fantastic car, even at low speeds, but performance shift mode and manly throttle application wakes her up so much more.

EVs may be quicker off the line, but I just love the drama: the buildup, the downshift, the rev jump, the brutal exhaust note, the vibrations while torque keeps squeezing you into the seat.

Pulled my NPP fuse cause the valves were screeching every time I let off the gas. It’s embarrassing while cruising. I’ll see if I can get used to the drone. Might have to grease it up and put back the fuse.

Yes. All of that.

EVs are quick and so damn smooth to drive, but they're just missing something for the full fun factor. It's like a whole symphony when I punch it in my Camaro and I love it so damn much. When I punch it in a Tesla it's this clinically sedate sort of fast.

Agree 100%. I've driven 800+hp cars and got a ride in a Tesla Model S Plaid. It's the fastest car I've ever been in and my wife could have been driving... and still wouldn't have any drama. Can't wait to see a Zora with the ZR1's LT7 and an all wheel drive electric motor like the E-Ray!

I agree. I have a friend who owns a Tesla Model S Plaid and a 911 Turbo S with a dual clutch transmission and launch control. The Tesla is a half second quicker to 60, which is amazing given how fast rhe Turbo S accelerates. However, the Tesla has no soul and the Turbo S will eat its lunch on the track.

Went for a drive this morning. First time I've been able drive the car in two weeks because of vacation and Tropical Storm Debby.

After my drive I did my annual oil change using my last 10 quarts of Mobil1 0W-40 ESP and a AC Delco oil filter. I also used my funnel kit from Harbor Freight for the first time on the car. With all the adapters that come with it I can use it on all my vehicles.

Great way to spend a Sunday, ZPirate! She's a beaut. I like those race ramp extenders. I might just have to get a pair

Thanks! Yes, the extenders work great on the ZL1. I didn't really need them on my SS 1LE, but the lower spoiler on the ZL1 would rub without them.

Makes perfect sense. The lower angle of approach does make it appealing for SS. I'll probably be ordering a set soon.

The vinyl sheet I bought was 1ft wide by 5ft length, so it fit perfectly over the flag decal I bought.
