Panthers and Garage 56 in one spot!

Yesterday at the Camaro SuperFest in southeast Michigan…

There was one Panther ZL1 and three Panther LT1 cars at the event. And of course the Garage 56.

Wow I love that SS. Looks great with the polished aluminum wheels. The matte finish doesn't do it for me.

I agree. I'm a ZL1 owner, but for the Panther Editions, I actually like the LT1's and SS's way better.

The Panther ZL1 just looks like it's primer. Not to mention a SERIOUS PITA if you get a scratch or scuff on a matte finish.

Sad they didn't do a better "final" color for the ZL1 Panthers.

I understand some people like the Matte, just not for me is all. To each their own!

Neither collector edition colors are really my thing.

They are, however, very different, so they do make the special editions obvious.

The ZL1 seems to look like every other matte-wrapped car on the road...

Seeing them together just multiplies the disappointment that Camaro did not get a Challenger level sendoff.

GM seems to think stickers and badges = special.

I loved my 50th 2SS, but the stick on decals were extremely disappointing, and I felt, really tacky for $50k car.

I may be in the minority here, but I really like the Garage 56 car, although I am not a fan of the ZL1 Panther. I know its basically decals and existing parts, but the tie in to the Garage 56 race car is cool.

I tried to order a Riptide Blue ZL1 (not a Garage 56 car) but wasn't able to get an allocation before I found my Summit White ZL1. I really like the color. My local dealer has an LT1 in Riptide Blue and the color is amazing.

I wouldn’t have picked black metal flake if the CE didn’t come in that color but it sure pops when it’s clean and it’s in the sun.

Agreed that the '56 car is the best looking of the bunch, with the added bonus of commemorating something momentous rather than the bittersweet reason for the Final Editions...

When I was there yesterday, there were 2 SS's with both ZL1's. Neither of the SS's had the polished wheels, they were both black (same style). I was there about 1:30pm. But really cool to see all of them. The flake in the SS paint was crazy. Pictures just aren't the same. I was also shocked to see that the matte ZL1 was also metallic color.

I wish they offered our cars with a chrome wheel option, to my knowledge there never was one? The polished aluminum does look great though.

It could have been ordered that way. Mine came with black but the dealer could have switched them.
