Not a "What I did" but more a "What I'm planning" (And didn't want to make a thread for this..)

I want to do something for the seatbelt where it hits against the seats when you take it off. Is there anything people have done for this before? It looks like a potential wear area, mine seemed to mostly just clean off with some interior cleaner, but rather catch it now.

Looks like he might be a car guy. I hope he is. Not many kids his age care about performance cars like we did growing up.

Took mine to my parents to visit about an hour away after Hurricane Berl kicked Houston's ass, and had a good visit. Need to wash it, since it's black, but still rain unfortunately a few days into the future before I can make her shine again.

I only clean it when I know for sure there's no rain for a few days, but lately in Houston the weather is pure shit.

If bothers you you can move it before releasing it, or find a cloth bag of some sort, or use a microfiber cloth and wrap it.

The Recaros in my Z/28 are notorious for a wear mark near the left shoulder area. I grabbed one of these seat belt shoulder pad protectors from Auto Zone. You might be able to do the same in for yours.

I detailed the car this weekend and tried out dark fury on my white rims, I'm not too impressed, but I did use a 10:1 ratio. I'll try 4:1 next time. I also, finally, got around to update my rear chevy badge like my last car. It took forever to get the adhesive off, lol, but it looks much better than the factory style. I gotta figure out what to do with the zl1 badge. Also, is there anything to help reduce rock chip visuals in the windshield? My windshield is covered in specs. It's hard to photograph. Is it possible clay barring might help, in case it's just stubborn debri? Yes, my windshield was cleaned right before the pictures.

i want one for my LT1 but i hear horror stories of them coming off at high speeds since they only attach with 3m tape

It's holding up well, besides the warpage, lol, but I've had this one for almost 7 years now. Don't worry about it flying off, I've been 160+ and have no issues. Just use permanent gorilla glue tape,(don't worry, its not permanent, lol),and I do recommend getting a small strip of foam and mount to the exterior underside. Prevents rattles at higher speeds and rattles from subwoofers. It's really hot where I live, so you probably won't have warping issues like I do, I haven't heard anyone else having this issue. I installed extra support in the middle to help, but it caused a little wavyness, lol. It really isn't noticeable until it's pointed out, hah!
