honeywell hobbs pressure switch adjustment
hello so i have a hobbs switch thats suppose to kick on and activate my secondary pump between 4-6 psi it’s adjustable. fro factory they are preset at 5 psi i’m trying to turn it down to 4psi i saw a screw at the top that i think might be what controls it but im not sure does anyone here have any experience w these

Usually turning the adjustment screw out (counterclockwise) lowers the activation pressure, while turning it in (clockwise) raises the activation pressure.

any idea how far? i was messing with it and it seemed like i could pull it all the way out if i wanted. i ended up leaving it at the point it the point where a few threads show

Going in should raise it since it’s typically a set screw pushing against a spring mechanism.

Josh is Correct turning it in increases flow. Funny last night I was just talking to my tuner about the meth controller which uses a Hobbs switch.
