Do the 2018 revised pumps generate oil pressure numbers greater than 40psi? Or even 50psi?

I have a late build 2018 and my stock pump had no issues. Warm idle pressure was 30psi. Normal driving I would see in the low 40’s to high 30’s. I decided to go with a Katech 2 months ago because my warranty expires in August. Now my warm idle is 40psi and normal driving I see between 50 and 60psi. If I get on it even higher. I took my original stock pump apart and it still looked brand new but my car only has 7600 miles now.

I have the latest LT1/LT4 oil pump revision from 2019 (part number 12686434), and of course oil pressure peaks well beyond 50 psi under WOT (not sure about the exact number, because I tend to focus on the road, traction and steeering at WOT ). Idle pressure is 31-32 psi, highway cruising at 34-35 psi.

Not quite the same numbers as with the Katech billet pump, but oil pressure has never dropped below 30 psi either.

Yes, my stock 2021 pump does.

If you get on it (high engine load high rpm) it should approach 70psi or perhaps a bit more.

I have a 2017, only 1375 miles but I have seen greater than 50 psi. Warm idle at 30 psi, cruising 35-45 psi at highway speeds.

Literally just towed my 2018 SS to the shop after I got the "Oil Pressure Low Turn Vehicle Off" warning immediately after turning it on this past weekend. Based on everything I've read here and elsewhere on the internet, I'm pretty confident I'll be submitting another one to the list once I find out for sure later today.

Edit: unless this is supposed to be ZL1's only then I'll find another place to cry.

Go ahead. Let it out. It will be better after Katech takes care of you...

Got a Katech pump installed BEFORE the GM pump broke.

Just picked up my 2018 ZL1 with a new KATECH oil pump installed before the GM pump broke. GM pump was intact and unbroken---thank goodness. Expensive pre-emptive move; BUT, a lot of piece of mind. Just shy of $4100.00 including the pump, etc. However, I am not regretting this whatsoever. I did this with only 8,600 miles on the odometer. However, my warranty runs out November 25th. Not taking the chance---I love the car and want to keep it. Looking for a lot more miles of enjoyment. I hope GM steps up ( HA. HA. ) and issues a recall. I would love to get some of my money back. LOL!!!

Oil Pump Replacement.

Pump was replaced by an independent garage ( Steffy's Garage ) located in Leola, PA---very close to Lancaster, PA. Not cheap--- but knowledgable mechanic and a nice garage. Very pleased with all their work. Drove it home with "great peace of mind". I supplied the Katech pump.
