Sure, run the G2s on the front, no issues there. 315/35/20 shouldn't be an issue either.

EDIT: 315/35/20 will not work, 315/30/20 will work.

Z OH 6, would that size fit the non 1LE also does this require a speedo change in HP Tuners...

Are you sure? I run 305/35/20s in the rear and there is only a (camel) hair's breadth of clearance on the driver side with the already relocated main body harness... a 315 is even taller by a third of an inch...

I don't think it will work, 315/30/20 will though

You may be right, when I originally replied, I was thinking about a 315/30/20, not a 35, but then I started thinking a few people have run a 315/35/20 but I could be wrong. It is quite a difference in tire height especially if the car is lowered.

Yup, 315/30/20 is a sweet spot. Too bad many tire options aren't manufactured in that size, including the Nitto 555RII or the Michelin Pilot Super Sport.

Not trying to Hijack the thread, but does anyone know the max 20” tire size for the Z’s?

From what I’ve read so far, it sounds like a safe size for the rear is 305/30/20.

But, what about the fronts, assuming no rubbing or mods?

Thanks everyone

I believe the ps4's can go up to a 315 on the rear of a zl1 and 295 on ss's, because they are smaller than most tires.

i run 315 ps4s on my non 1le no problems. now my issue is, will I be giving up traction going from this to a stock size 555r2 because the 315/35/20 probably will not work without modification

Tire compound is FAR more important for traction than tire width. Your 315 PS4S's are no match for a 305 555R2.

Sweet!

Also update on my new R555R2's - These babies really hook up nice on the street so far! Pretty impressed so far. I didn't make it out to Tune and Test Evening at Summit/National Trails on 6/28, I really need to get this interchiller installed and get the IATs down when the days are hot here, >85°+ a lot lately! Going to find a nice cool morning and do a Dragy 60mph to 130mph and get a time/distance!

How do they feel taking corners or going fast when entering/exiting the highway ramps vs the SC3's?
