Whipple Belt Size

Hi Guys was looking around on the site, found some information but not exactly what I was looking for and maybe start another useful tread as the one that exists if for ZL1's on the 8 ribs.

Currently my setup is 8.855 Lower / 3.375 Upper // Belt K100852HD
Im seeing about 15-16psi.

I have a 3.0 at home that I want to use.

Next belt down is a K100830HD which is almost 2in smaller... I would assume I would need to use the existing belt?

Anyone have this pulley combo? 8.855 / 3.0? What belt are you using?

Thanks in advance.

I’m running 9.25/3.25 and have a Dayco 5100880 so that probably doesn’t help you. But they offer belts in much smaller increments than what you described so I think you could pick one of these out (page 19 & 20):

Does dayco have green belts? Looking at this list and all i find when looking up the belts are normal belts ?

I've only ever used Gates, this Dayco brand would you say is at same level?

I’ve had great luck with the Dayco belts and have never broke one (furiously knocking on wood lol). And my old Kong ported Whipple 2.9 was way overspun too. Obviously I can’t guarantee anything but my experience has been great, and I don’t exactly turn these blowers slowly lol…
