Performance Alignment Capability - Stock LT1

Hi All,

Took my LT1 up in the canyons yesterday, car did great as usual but I get the sense that the car would benefit from a performance oriented aligned. With stock specs it feels like the rear end is just following the front and not 'helping' the car turn at all.

Is it possible to dial in a more performance oriented alignment with the stock components?

I need to keep it stock as I plan on selling the car after the summer, but I want to enjoy it while I got it. Baby on the way.

Thank you

My factory alignment was .4 neg. I got it set at 1.3 neg front and.8 neg rear. I keep summer tires on it, much better than when new.

Thanks! I'm rocking Michelin PS4AS, not as good as pure summer tires but worlds better than the stock goodyears

Is it possible to dial in a more performance oriented alignment with the stock components? YES. Same basic components as all the other performance variants. Search here on the forums for alignment procedures. Rear toe and camber eccentric bolts are one time use. It takes skill and understanding to get the alignment perfect on these cars. Look for a performance oriented shop. Dealers most likely will be clueless. Good Luck.
