I would be curious to see what amount of decreased temps that this will provide. It does look badass though!

GMS installed finally!

I finally got the time to put on the GMS Crash Bar. It was very well packaged and arrived with no damage. The attention to detail is amazing. During the install process, any time I thought to myself it would have been nice if there was a hole for a push clip or something I would realize there was a hole exactly where I was thinking it should be! It is obvious there was a lot of time and effort put into the design. Every part fit as it should have. The entire actual replacement of OEM part took a few minutes. And at least in my case, I was already taking off the bumper cover to install the carbon fiber parts I had ordered. The GMS crash bar, and removal of the stock foam really does open up the front to get fresh cool air through the radiators. It would have been the perfect time to replace the intercooler heat exchanger at the same time, the stock looks a little cut off now that it’s visible. It was totally worth the money, and I couldn’t be happier! And my completely arbitrary non scientific and no data collected opinion on extra cooling capacity is; even though the air temperature is warmer now by 5-10 degrees, the car seems to always be a bit cooler on the gauge. I would love to see someone collect some significant data both on road and at the track to scientifically quantify exactly how much difference the extra air flow makes.

Great work Matt, and thank you for the kind words! So happy to see your results. I think the mesh is a great idea... and hope to be offering that as an option soon. Well done!!!
