Exhaust - Duals for quads

So my car came with the dual exhaust.I may swap for the quads. I am wondering if the exhaust hangers are the same for the duals and quads. I realize the Valance would also have to be swapped, but are the hangers in the same location?

If your car didn't come with NPP, the computer won't be able to control the valves.

There are several aftermarket exhausts that come with 4 tips and are compatible with dual tip configurations, if you only want the quad look, this is what I'd do. For example, AWE has quad exhausts that automatically get loud under throttle and remain quiet otherwise.

Yep. That’s the route I went. Yanked the dual exhaust and valence off, installed the quad AWE Touring catback along with a new diffuser. Easy peasy.

The hangers were exactly the same on my 2017 SS - it didn't come with NPP so I found an OEM NPP muffler and valence. It fit right in no problems.

Very happy with the sound (had the GM CAI and a ported throttle body) - perfect amount of cracks and pops on decel.
