trailering your ZL1...
So, I'll be trailering my ZL1 to Katech for additional work, approx. 230 miles. The only trailer I have access to is an open trailer. Would it be wise or not to get some kind of heavy duty car cover for trip or would that just be a hassle and would the speed cause the cover to possibly damage the paint or anything? We're pulling it behind a GMC Sierra HD Denali Diesel. Thanks

Don't put a cover on it, the wind will eat it and cause it to eat your paint. I tow on an open trailer to the track, no issues. Make sure you have good mudflaps and you'll be fine.
I tow on a GMC 1500 with airbags and extended mudflaps. My only beef is the damn bug splatter. |

This is an option, I’ve also used a heavy duty wide stretch wrap you can buy at Home Depot as well. |
