Yeah, no kidding, not just Altimas but crappy CR-Vs and HR-Vs, Camrys, Jeeps suddenly all want to show how much faster they are than my Camaro I just blip the throttle and keep going... let'em "fly" and feel good about themselves

I daily my 1LE. I love getting in it mostly every day. The ride home from work in it is just what I need at the end of a work day. If any asshole thinks their hot shit it's such a breeze to show them up in just about any situation.
However: I do not drive it during winter months I usually don't drive it if it's raining more then just a slight sprinkle If there's a rough road I know I'll need to travel on or if I need to park in a sketchy spot, I'll also not take it. Last edited by speedyink1; 05-03-2024 at 09:06 AM. |

Not a 1LE, but I definitely don't daily drive mine. In the winter I don't for obvious reasons, but in the summer I still don't just because of wear and tear, especially with the terrible Jersey roads. It's nice to be able to drive around and not necessarily worry about every small thing like tracking dirt into the car with my sneakers (yes I'm that particular). I've been busy on the weekends too, which means even less driving. Probably averaging like 50 miles a month if you can believe it.

I keep my car that has Mag Ride in Tour 100 percent of the time, even in the settings for Sport mode or Track mode. The ride quality is excellent. I daily drive my vehicle, and I have no complaints whatsoever.
But if I throw it into Track, have the suspension set to track, it beats the living hell out of me. I'm assuming in the ZL1 1LE it's even a ton worse. No way I could daily that vehicle. I'd have to make it a garage queen for sure. I didn't get Mag Ride because I wanted it, but when the 2017s were dropping I got my 2016 1SS brand new at the end of the year when the 2017s were dropping for 20 percent off the sticker from a GM promotion, and it had it. My 40,500 price tag went to 32,500. Heck of a deal. And just lucked into getting it, but it's a great damn option. |

If the temp is above 45F and dry, I'll take it on a 15-20 mi. jaunt, but it's not a DD per se.

I'm one of those people that parks away from everybody, I don't trust other drivers, lol. At work I have a special parking spot that's way out of the way of everything.
