Anyways, back to reality here, can we get this thread back on track, please?

Like I said to you in the emails, $72k is an excellent deal for a private sale, as it's a average deal for a dealer sale. Dealers going to have tax, fees, etc.

I paid $71.5 for my 2022 w/ 5.9k miles. Before taxes, and fees.

If you can hang on to it (park it outside w/ a good cover?) I'm positive you'll get a sale. The wrap / ceramic make it 1 of 1, and it's a great color (SGM) underneath. It's a slicktop (no sunroof) and a manual... it's pretty much the ideal ZL1. You'll just have to weigh how long you want to keep it vs. how much of a hit you're willing to take it to move it "now".

I really thought you'd sold it when I didn't see it up for sale anywhere or else I would have bought it.

Best of luck.

I can't.

Because the vast majority of Californians are grossly out of touch with the reality of what is going in this country as evident by their voting. If you're in the minority that thinks otherwise, kudos to you, but you probably need to get out of California like others are doing that disagree with the current state of political affairs.

It's like talking to a wall with him honestly. Don't waste your time. Minimum wage is $20.00 an hour there now or maybe soon. Since he's a male realtor, that should tell you all you need to know about him. It's no wonder he's selling the ZL1, with realtors not making as much in commission he's probably needing to offload things that he can't afford.

I think $72k is a bit high in the current market. $67-68K in more realistic. Two months ago I paid $69k for my 2023 with less than 1800 miles. This was a private sale.

I'll be prepared to deal. Was the one you purchased stock?

Agreed with this. I think you might find an impatient buyer or someone who wants a zl1, but has a lot of funds and doesn’t care to haggle over a few grand. It will just take awhile.

If I were in the market I’d offer you 66-67k. Also your wrap devalues your car. While I’m sure it’s fine, a legit buyer is gonna wanna know that there’s nothing wrong with the paint as paint work is extremely pricey. I’d pull it off before listing the car. Modifications in general ruin the value of the car and you’re never going to get the money back for it even if it is something that “helps” the car look/run better. My 2ss 1le is not worth more just because it has ppf which keeps the paint nice.

I agree with M6, the wrap is gonna kill resale,it definitely de-values vehicle, as prospective
Buyer wants to know if the wrap is hiding something, similar to when you side a house
To hide termite damage.

Yes, mine is stock. Money spent on modifications is very seldom recouped when selling unless you find someone that wants exactly what you are selling
