Is this a “slow start”?
https://www.reddit.com/r/camaro/s/770TGEN8GC
Greetings all, I’ve brought my first Camaro, and it seems fine, but I feel like it turns over a second longer than it should. I’ve read where others have put an extra ground on the tensioner to aid in a quicker start/turnover. Any input would really help. (2020 Camaro SS) two Reddit links to hear the vehicle in question^ Thanks, https://www.reddit.com/r/camaro/s/OSgkdSj0iS

Sounds normal, these direct injection engines don't get the boot from the ECM until the required fuel pressure is met. They turn over longer as a result, enjoy the car.

Ya you should be good, I saw the video.
My car takes longer to start than yours and I'm pretty modified, and in cold winter will take longer. So don't be surprised. Today it was below freezing usually takes my car about 3 seconds to start. give or take a second.

This is normal. Your starter is struggling a bit initially, but it cranks the engine over just fine, and it starts within a second and a half. Battery voltage is probably a bit low, you may have happened to kill the engine just before or shortly after the alternator started charging.
Nothing to worry about as long as it doesn't gradually get longer and longer, or more labored. (The real slow start that the extra ground strap you mentioned addresses occurs when the engine is already hot, and it feels like some poor schmuck trying to crank the engine by hand for several seconds before it roars to life.)
