You mean....I could not have to dry my car to avoid the spots? I use a battery leaf blower to avoid contact with the clearcoat with a light wipe to get residuals, but if I could skip that whole step that'd still save me some good time. |

Wife and both have Pixel 6 Pro's and neither fit in that tiny ass space. It would be semi-convenient for it to actually accept one of our phones and work. I'm contemplating hacking up one side of the console itself to make some more space and see how bad it actually looks to make the phones fit.

That’s awesome! One of my goals too. I heard from pantheorganizer (or someone else maybe) that running it after the water softener improves the life of the deionizer filter material significantly while bringing water hardness down closer to zero. I plan to run a line into the garage from the basement for it when I can finally get one. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It was a bit nerve wracking to leave water on the car after all these years of trying to stay out of the sun and drying/wiping almost immediately, but the paint is super clean and truly spotless, very impressive. Saved me a ton of time and towels, too. During the short "brake rust scrape off" drive afterwards I rolled the windows all the way down and back up, which of course smeared them with water, but it disappeared in 30 seconds leaving nothing behind (unlike before, when this meant having to clean them again). The only regret I have is why the hell didn't I buy it sooner

I finally got around to installing my Soler Performance Throttle Body Controller, mainly for the "lock" feature, which works as advertised, but I'm sure I'll play with the settings also to get the most out of the unit itself.

Is it the same size as stock? Tune needed? Re-learn? Simple swap & go?

It's plug and play, no tune, and a fairly easy install (and removal if needed) |

Installed a Corsa NPP axle back exhaust on my 2022 Camaro SS 1LE yesterday, and I am super happy with the sound:

It's incredible to see how much less problematic city or well water would be if it weren't full of minerals and sediments and whatnot... (We already have a 3-stage whole house filter, but I still had to buy the DIC-20 because the garden faucets are split off before the filter. It's just the way this house was built back in the day, super difficult to change without redoing the entire frikken plumbing literally from the ground up, which I'm nowhere near ready for.)

![]() Holy smokes, cool to hear it works so well! While my water doesn't sound as bad as yours, this is still something I need to invest in at some point. I only seem to have to contend with water spots in the summer heat around here, but what a time suck (I need both towels and leaf blower that time of year, I love the black color but hate it as well..). Not to mention I'd just feel better about the water I'm washing the car with. Good to know, thanks!! |

Today I swapped the factory SS push to start button with a ZL1 push to start button. Adding up-trim parts is certainly my jam. I decided to retain the stock silver bezel in lieu of the ZL1 piano black bezel because it makes the button visually pop a bit more. Watching this video made it easy, only took 10 minutes:
Think I'll do the Caddy door strike trim next. -Ray |
