Anyone have a Sharkskin here with with MRR M017 in Gunmetal? I am wondering how it'd look vs the gloss black M017 wheels. I have factory satin black wheels on my LT1 and like the contrast. I don't want the gloss black wheels, would rather have a flat finish.

See this post, it is an SS 1LE with the OEM 1LE wheels, but the MRR 017 is virtually idential looking...

Nope the OEM SS 1LE wheels are gunmetal, virtually the same color as the Gunmetal MRR017s... The pictures on MRRs website make the gunmetal look lighter than they really are...

Here is my Shadow Gray Metallic SS with the MRR017's in Gunmetal...

Thanks! I absolutely LOVE them, order them in Gunmetal, they will look great (I think the gloss black might look "cheap") I used my GM Black SS center caps and bought Gorilla Black lugs (the OEM lugs won't work as you won't be able to get a socket on them as the hole for the lug nut is slightly smaller than OEM wheels...

You're right Captain, gloss black only looks great when brand spanking new, and it feels cheaper and cheaper as it gets dirty and loses some of its shine over time.

Good call on the smaller diameter lug nuts, too. One thing I'd like to add is that I had those Gorilla lug nuts (with gloss black MRR 017s before I was finally able to get a true 1LE wheel set), and they started rusting at the edges very quickly, basically after 2-3 wheel-pop-and-reinstall "sessions". For the stock 1LE wheels I bought black McGard lug nuts, and they have been flawless ever since, for at least 2 years.
