The plan is to take engine, transmission, heating/AC, radiator, fuel system, brake booster, heated seats, center console, instrument cluster, HUD (heads Up Display), steering wheel, gas/brake/clutch peddles & complete wiring harness from the donor.
I replaced the front struts, passenger lower control arm & installed the AC belt on the 2011 Camaro. Now the AC blows cold, car drives great & straight. Brake pads are at 90%. It's just too nice to use as a donor so I'm going to keep it.

NICE!!!
Maybe go 'ol school 383 stroker, modern 5-speed and a Moser 12-bolt w/3.73s in the 2nd Gen. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love my LS powered modern hobby cars but I still enjoy the nice WOOP WOOP when you twist the throttle of a nice 750 cfm (or bigger) carburated engine. Just my opinion, of course.

Glad you are keeping the donor. I’ve been following this thread and That car is to good to be an organ donor.
I have a set of ZL1 rocker skirts that would look great on that car lol

Paid $500 for some Continental DWS06 245F & 275R tires on BMW 20x8.5F & 20x10R forged rims. 85% tread. These weigh 11lbs less per wheel than what was on the car. I will paint them black & use SS center caps.

I was able to reset/clear all the fault codes then verified all lights & switches are working. Car sat for a year after the accident so rotors had heavy surface rust so I didn't notice how worn they were. I did see it had newish brake pads all around. Added 20mm spacers up front to move the tires out some and more clearance for the Brembo calipers.
I reinstalled the Eibach lowering springs up front and installed the new swaybar links. Putting new brake pads & rotors on. Making progress de-greening the car. Rear bowtie, under hood fusebox cover & + power cover are done. Next are the calipers. Left exhaust tip is missing so I ordered new ones. Currently has cats & straight pipes but I got a complete factory exhaust off a car with 14K miles for $100 so that is going on soon. Replacement front bumper arrives Monday, going with a Gen5 ZL1 inspired one.

Green calipers are no more. Also painted the center of the rotors and made these SS center caps for the BMW wheels going on the 2011 Camaro SS

Looking good! Were you able to save the heritage grill? If so, hold on to it.

Yes, the heritage grill is good. I am using it in the new bumper arriving Monday. The lower grill is damaged but doesn't fit in the new bumper.
