I'm looking to find information on the ACS side skirts, in the 1LE black color. My 2ss CE has the satin black front splitter and I would like the side skirts to match that color. Does anyone know if the ACS 1LE black is the same, or close to GM satin?

Welcome to the forum Agunno6! Yes, the ACS side skirts in 1LE black match the color of the 1LE front splitter and rear spoiler. They are great additions to the car. I also recommend the ACS rock guards in 1LE black. They all fit together seamlessly.

Z do those rock guards work on ZL1 too? Can they be ordered in the Mosaic Black metallic to match the splitters and skirts on those cars? Looking at getting something for my Z. If it is can you share a link? Thanks!

I know ACS makes quality stuff, but they are ridiculously over priced imho. $400 for rock guards? $900+ for side skirts? That's 3-4X the cost of the competition. Seems absurd for pieces of molded plastic.

one thing to be aware of with the ACS 1LE color skirts. The paint is very delicate and they will scratch easily. You cannot polish out the scratches because it will just turn it to gloss.
I 100% do not feel they are worth the asking price. I got a deal on mine since they arrived slightly damaged in shipping. I wouldnt buy them again for the price. I was expecting them to feel a little bit more solid when i got them but they felt like the cheap EOS build ones for $200
They are smoking crack asking $400 for some rock guards. Get some ZL1 add on delux and save yourself $300 and laugh about it

ACS products aren't cheap. But you get what you pay for in terms of quality and fitment.

ACS rock guards for the Camaro are molded and fit the car like a glove. Quite a bit went into engineering them to fit like they do. Nothing wrong with cheaper alternatives, it really depends on your budget and how you like the way the products look on the car.

No aftermarket side skirt for the Camaro is going to feel as solid as the ZL1 side skirts do. Those are part of the actual rocker. All aftermarket side skirts have to be made to mount to the rocker.

Sorry but the skirts felt like a floppy injected plastic when i got them Not comparing anything to a factory built part that is part of the molded side panel on a ZL1, not sure why that is even being compared here. They are nothing special in terms of build or quality. Like i said i would NOT buy them again if I would do it over

We definitely know your position on the ACS side skirts.

My point is that you can't expect an aftermarket part that isn't part of the rocker to be as solid as one built into the rocker.
