Banks Super Gauge Experience
Just looking for some feedback for those running the I-Data series Super Gauge or Data Monster gauges. I'll be doing a Procharger kit soon. My car is a garage queen mostly, 2019 and just hit 16k/mi this month. Will likely never see the track during my ownership. Will be strictly a 91 octane tune as most of the Western U.S. doesn't know how to achieve 93 octane and doesn't embrace ethanol, so I won't need it for reading E content. Is it worth investing in the Super Gauge or Data Monster? It would be nice to have alerts for things like Knock Retard and specific fuel variables but Banks doesn't seem to have PID's set up for them. I do want to monitor Boost accurately. I'm assuming that the OBDII is reading from the MAP sensor for manifold vac/boost?
Just wondering if a simple AEM Wideband + Boost gauge wouldn't be the way to go. It's easy to glance at a needle vs browse a display. What information do you guys monitor with Banks, and do you wish you'd gone a different route with gauges? |

I have had mine for over 2 years E85 gauge works great!, I have it mounted in a ZZP A pillar mount, easy to hook up , easy to program and no issues so far.
