Bought one from Todd for my 2017 Corvette Grand Sport a few years back. Best price I found. He was a bit hard to reach, but once we got together, all went great. Will probably do same for my ZL1 when time comes.

FYI... For Ford extended warranty, check out Granger Ford. Unbelievable pricing at $50 over their cost, and I believe it.

This is great thread. I just sent an inquiry to Todd. Also for folks expecting to maximize duration by waiting that is not how the majority of these warranties work. The duration and mileage is from the first date of sale. If the car was first sold in Jan of 2021 a 6 year warranty would expire in Jan of 2027. This would be the expiration date even if you bought the warranty on dec of 2023. A 6 year extended only adds 3 years to the base warranty no matter when purchased.

Quick follow up:

Todd got back to me the next day and the pricing is excellent. I do not want to share exact pricing as it is likely to change but I am getting a 84/56k for well under 1.4k

Another interesting bit of information is that the start date for the warranty is the date of purchase (of the warranty) from Todd. This is really nice I have not seen this offered by other providers.

That is not correct from what I was told. Not to mention I have seen other people paperwork from warranties and the above is not correct

It depends on the product. In my follow up I noted that the GMEPP may run from the date of purchase (I am confirming that the contract I received is correct). The majority of the 20+ extended plans if have purchased or been offered run concurrently with the original warranty (starting in the in service date of the vehicle). Typically the in service date is the date of first sale.

Some warranty products will vary. The best bet is to get the end date/milage in writing in the contract vs only the length on the warranty. It’s a common mistake and regret of folks that purchase these warranties to find out that they only extended 3years from “bumper to bumper” for a 6year warranty (example).

This is a good article on the topic. They caution to verify the actual start/end date as it can vary.

I also added an example from the Mopar extended plan on how their coverage starts on the date of first sale.

I finally looked into the terms and conditions. Looks like GM allows you to have it both ways: months/miles start at contract purchase or "Wrap" coverage starts at vehicle in service date. I'm sure prices are going to be different. Enclosed is a sample of the contract and a link to the Chevy website. The good news is the contract does list the expiration of the warranty by termination date and mileage.

If I didn’t have CPO I’d contact Todd, who knows I may contact him before CPO ends

There’s a rumor that you must get the GMEPP before the 3/36 expires. Not sure how the CPO plays in. I have a CPO as well be wanted to lock in the GMEPP while they still exist or prices go up.

This is correct. I got the contract from Todd. I got the 84 month and ends on 2/31

The contract says if purchased after the 3/36 there is a 30 day 1000 miles period before it goes into effect

Thanks Big Lou, other folks are saying that they(GM) will not sell the GMEPP if outside of the 3/36 but you are correct the contract does not have that language.

Has anyone that has purchased these from Macmulkin or other GM dealer online had the GM system checked by their service advisor to make sure it is activated? Apparently GM does not provide any information after the agreement.

You are right they do not give you a card or anything but Todd says after it’s activated he can pull it up. I did check my local dealer and he said the same thing.
