Camaro SS 1le Possible Misfire/Other Issue

2022 Camaro SS 1LE

A few days ago was driving meeting a few friends, all day no issues. Then coming out of a parking lot and onto the road I saw a string of messages on my dash. Starting with "Service Rear Axle" "ABS not available" "TSC Not available" and my rev match was also available + CEL. Pulled over, nothing visually wrong with the engine bay. Engine is running rough: might be in limp mode?

I wasn't too far from home so decided to drive back. I checked with my obd scan tool and got the code "P0301" Cylinder 1 misfire. Didn't really find much helpful information online but today I tried clearing the code but starting the car it still felt rough and then started showing the warnings a second after.

"Service Rear Axle" just seems to be a generic warning that pops up.

Aside from that, any possible clues as to what it could be? It's a fairly new car I don't really expect a bad spark plug or worse all of a sudden. And finally safe to drive to the dealership or call a tow truck?

Just wanted to give a quick update for anyone with the same issue in the future: dreaded lifter failure! I'm at 7k miles M6. Dealership is looking for parts, still under warranty. Out of warranty I would have looked at phastek performace lifters.

Bummer - but glad the warranty is going to take care of you!

Jeez. Any idea what might have caused it, prior to you pulling out of the lot?

Nope not a clue. Been on the track a few times and mountain roads with 0 issues, it's cold and rainy the last 2-3 months so haven't really pushed it. Oil levels were fine too, so not a clue! That day was pretty calm driving all within 10 miles, happened out of no where.

I will say it's really strange for this to happen at 7k miles. Last time I spoke to the dealership they said they are trying to find the parts, so lets see how long this takes.
