Changed engine oil with Amsoil for about the 15th time with only 37,000 miles. It's up to $150.00 for 8 qts and a filter in CA now.

Lowering Springs

Installed some BMR 1.25" lowering springs recently that I got used for $100. Looks fantastic for what I paid.

Also, the Camaro is at the shop today using HP Tuners to get rid of the check engine light since I got rid of the cats.

Notice any difference with these on the butt dyno?

I didn't run the Car until I had the tune in from Ted, but did I notice a difference after the Tune was installed? absolutely, and def. more power and responsiveness.

Gave it a quick wash and wipe down and threw the cover on before the wintry mix we got here in NY. Probably leaving it on until spring at this point unless I cant beat the urge to break her out early. This leads to the yearly fight with my HOA about the cover.....

Started yesterday morning by getting her up in the air, pulling the front brakes off, then the wheel bearing assemblies, replaced the wheel studs with longer so I can run a spacer, and got the new rotors, pads, and braided lines installed. Will be doing the rears this evening, and hopefully the weather improves enough by tomorrow evening to go drive it and bed in the new pads.

Filled the Z up with fuel after trying to teach this old dog (me!) a new trick. Gonna TRY to become proficient at the art of heel toe braking. Not going to be easy but it will definitely help me on track if I can master it. PLUS it gives me another excuse to play with the Z!
