While being mid-life (heck, if I'm so lucky), I'd call my Camaro problem more a *whole*-life crisis.

While my used V8 3rd-gen in the mid 90s was an auto, the rest are what I love - 6 Liter V8, 6-speed stick.

I may have a different connection to the car than some of you. It's not that I want to *have* the car so much that I eschew having to drive anything else.

The only thing (at least at present) that lets me leave my Gen6 in the garage is my M6 Gen5 SS. I could not stand having to tool around in some FWD 4-banger while the car I want to drive is being left behind.

Hamp, great that you have such problems. I only wish I could be in that situation. Your money, what ever makes you happy, Great!

For me, I would off-load some of the cars and focus on tracking one of the ZL1s. Get a lift, a good trailer, good tow vehicle, extra tires/rims, support eqpt, etc. Maybe even get a ZL1 1LE... I did. Anyway, set the car up for the track and spend your money on tires, brakes, lubricants, and track insurance. Even if you do not want to be competitive, just get out there and enjoy the whole experience. If you need someone to help with that investment, just let me know, I work for laps!

It's crazy how the Z06 was the flagship for a moment but the ZLE looks the more menacing of the two.

I turned 50 in 2023. I wanted to buy myself a car that ticked off every box (manual, conv), I wouldn't outgrow it, and I could keep it until they tell me I'm too old to drive.

No such thing as mid life crisis, we have worked hard for what we have. ZL1, ZX14R, and finally work on doing my chevelle the way I want it. It's a rendering, but mine is going to be a different color and interior color, but this spring the car plans are twin turbo, T56 magnum Z06 clutch which I will pull out and go with a 1000 hp monster dual clutch, dual 450 pumps, 80 pound injectors etc, etc.
I have been driving and enjoying the car for years, went from a 350 motor, 468, and have a LQ4 in now for years, and stacking parts for years and 2024 should be the grand slam.
