they are a great on track option but if you dont track your car they are not worth it and they are not as adjustable as a full coilover would be what is your goal?

Tein is about 50 steps above Godspeed and Megan Racing. They are a top notch Japanese brand. Driving an American car you may not be too aware of them but they are a legit suspension company in Japan and have been doing it for since 1985 and started as an OEM supplier in Japan, then branched out to start making their own. They don't have much for American cars. |

Anybody have experience with D2 Racing ? They are 36 way adjustable instead of the regular 32. They run in the $1ooo range. Looks to be good quality.

Check out D2 Racing, they really are a racing team and an ISO 9001 certified manufacturing company. The ones you would want are their D-CH-10 kit on ebay, price is $1015+ tax and the kit is 36 way adjustable. That's 4 more times than the 32 way adjustable coilovers you see everywhere.

All of these $1k coilover kits with threaded sheet metal collars at the bottom are pieces of shit. You do get what you pay for. Let's stop pretending otherwise.

Not sure why everyone keeps bringing Tein into this. They don't even make anything for the Camaro. Their products mostly cater to the Japanese cars, since they are a Japanese brand. I used to have a set of them on my RX7 FD when I was in Japan and when I had my BRZ was actually going to get a set for it. Tein does make low end stuff of the people that just want to lower their car and they make high end stuff for the racers but again, we on this forum aren't going to be using them unless you happen to have a Japanese car. |

So, if D2 coilovers are a POS @ $1K, then what does that make the factory $375 struts and shocks then ? Also, if you just want them for the street it's to "clean up" your suspension by having "married" shocks/struts and springs compared to "divorced" shocks/struts and springs from the factory. And don't forget to clean up your stock intake with either a Soler or BKK throttle body.
