Maybe, maybe not. Although I did buy my car for modding, I did not want to lose my warranty. But I still have a few years left and doubt I’ll be able to hold off. Depends on what people want for their own cars. If the shotgun blasts were that bad and wanted to keep warranty, I could put the stock muffler back on or keep very light throttle instead of letting off the gas 100% which tames the street gang from doing their drive by

What do you have for exhaust? Chances are, if you had a AWE track which is a straight piped muffler delete you could relate more.
This axleback is much more enjoyable than something I dislike, so it’s not a huge issue for me

My 2018 still pops and crackles, im in Iowa and my car isnt garaged. Extreme heat and cold. It however has only ever popped and crackled in manual mode when downshifting.

I don't mind the pops, and with a manual it's not hard to "drive around" them. If you avoid rev-matching when it will kick up the rpm's too high, you barely get any pops. I usually come to a stop in neutral or just clutch in and brake, which makes the car literally silent. If you're driving a little more spirited and hit some downshifts to accelerate then it becomes more noticeable. Overall though the stock NPP has a damn good tone imo.

my 2023 ZL1 crackles like crazy bone stock. My 2017 Fifty Edition Camaro SS popped a ton as well but not as much as my ZL1.

It is all in the tune. There are quite a few things done on the ZL1 tune by GM to make it crackle a lot more. Some of the settings cannot be seen without some custom user defined parameters being exposed.

I also have an M6 and pretty much have it figured out how to drive around them. Mine pops pretty hard during shifts when lifting off the throttle, but the RPM range for the pops seems pretty tied to 2000-2500 RPM range. When shifting from 1st to 2nd, and second to third, I shift right around 2500 to bypass them. If I'm just doing my local cruse, right after I have shifted to 3rd, I shift to 4th at 2000 and am cruising in the 40-45 MPH range. Hardly ever with that pattern does my car pop. If I do my shifting anywhere between 2000-2500, pops are plentiful. They do seem more pronounced when the car is cold. I also tend not to downshift much during normal driving when slowing down, as I was taught that wasn't as healthy for the transmission. I don't have experience with the A10 in a Camaro to know what conditions create them. I have the Flowmaster NPP axle back and drive in sport mode most of the time. I couldn't really tell a difference in the amount of crackle and pop noise when going from stock NPP to the Flowmaster. Flowmaster did increase the volume of the exhaust I'd say 15-20 percent at a guess, for sure made the tone a little deeper. I'm an old guy so I like the Flowmaster tone.
