Sold my DD last week -- 2011 CTS Wagon AWD. Bought a trailer a few months ago and needed a tow vehicle, so I'll be picking up a new-to-me 2018 Escalade Platinum on Friday. That'll serve dual purposes as DD & tow rig.

So I’ve still got the 2021 Expedition Limited but added another utility vehicle to the stable: 2009 Mercedes Benz ML 63 AMG with the hand built 6.3L 503 Hp DOHC V8. Not a bad winter beater lmao! The difference in build quality, even in this older example, vs the Camaro is pretty staggering lol. 15 years old and there are zero squeaks or rattles…it’s like driving a bank vault.

Oh man it’s a 2013 GMC sierra SLT fully loaded with tools and a ranger 250 welder, it only throws a code when I am pulling a trailer other than that it’s been perfect for the last 10 years. Hell I just replaced my battery last year, so nine years with a stock battery is not bad!, I am on the 10 year plan where I purchase a truck out right every 10 years but with the prices nowadays, it’s 20 years

Your wife’s car is beautiful and well appointed, I’m sure. But I’m with you…gotta have the power too.

2021 firestarter
It serves its purpose for my 89 mile rt commute. Some days I wish it was a big truck as the drivers here in Florida are crazy on the Florida turnpike in their pos uninsured no license cars

For several years it’s been the black SRX. Lately though if my wife is not out driving it I take the Model Y. This pic is from when we picked it up last month.

Have a few but usually if the roads are bad I take my 2006 F350. Bought new in 2005 with the 6.0 diesel. Wore the engine out in 2013, and built up a 5.9 12 valve Cummins with a P7100 pump. Installed a ZF-S750 6 speed manual transmission from a F550 and a centerforce twin disk clutch. Not quite as fast as the ZL1 but definitely not a slouch.
