I use ethanol equalizer. I did use Stabil in the past, but I've found Ethanol Equalizer better. Here's the product:

Top off the tank, over inflate the tires, put on the battery tender, and it sits in a heated garage.

Just run it in Lake St Clair mostly with a couple of runs down into Lake Erie a year. It gets about 0.8 mpg. :(

Yep, I put Stabil in mine. I had a friend (sadly passed away too early) that was a Jet engine mechanic for American Airlines. He knew a ton about fuel. He tested fuels from all our local gas stations to determine what was the best for our Hot Rod cars back in the day. As sad as it sounds, gas can start breaking down in 3-4 months. I live in the Mid West where Quicktrip chain is very popular. All his testing showed it to be the best and freshest fuel, they pump a lot of gas in this part of the country. So short story made long. Stabilizer is a good idea, certainly can't hurt.
