Have not had a chance to wash my car in about 500 miles and the wheels looked pretty bad so I hit a you wash it place and hosed off the wheels

I went over the car with a clay bar today. I was amazed how little the clay picked up and how smooth the paint was. I’m going to apply the Turtle Wax Ceramic Spray tomorrow.

I’m just curious why are you amazed, Is this the first Clay bar on the car and/or are you surprised of the quality of the paint?

Anytime I’ve clayed before, you could see some color change on the clay bar as it picked up some dirt, rail dust, etc. The paint on this 24 is much smoother and cleaner than it was on my 23.

Good to hear, the reason I ask is because I think they missed clear coating part of my drivers door and no matter what I do, I can’t get it like the rest of the car

Maybe it was touched up at the Factory after it came off the line? The offline clear might not match the assembly line clear.

Installed LT1 (OEM) emblems on hood. The '24 Collectors Edition has them on so thought they would look good on my '24 2SS Convertible too!

No it is literally a different texture like hitting a dry spot, if I didn’t love everything else about this car it would probably bother me but at 100 miles an hour nobody sees it
