You'll naturally feel road undulations, etc., coming through the steering wheel and suspension. It shouldn't be harsh or uncomfortable; but I don't have experience with the run flats. I have a '21 ZL1 that is totally acceptable riding. I will say that after I have driven the wife's Volvo SUV or the '22 Supra 3.0, and haven't driven the ZL1 in a few days, getting back in the ZL1 I notice how much more feedback comes through the steering wheel and how I feel more road imperfections and undulations.
And I'll add that the magnetic (or other electronic suspension cars I've owned) isn't "plush", although the BMW was too soft and wallowey
in "normal" setting, it's just more controlled. The chassis is more buttoned-down and doesn't move as much, which is a good thing.

The steering on the Camaros is among the best in the business. The chassis feedback is among the best. It means you do feel everything happening, which allows you to be in control and make the right inputs.

They're definitely not the most comfortable cars out there. I think the 5th gen was WAY more comfortable. I could drive my 5th gen all day and feel great getting out. I'm a little stiff getting out of the 6th gen.

I thought my 5th gen was roomier, but for driving that is opposite of my experience. In my 5th and my wife needed a kidney belt to survive all the bumps in the road. I took her on a test drive in a 2016 with MR and she was immediately sold. It is probably an even bigger difference on the convertibles, which both of mine were.

I can hear and feel every single bump, crack, dip, and slit on the road; even just cruising at speed on the highway. Living in a nice part of Florida, our roads aren't even that bad. I can feel just about every pebble even on smooth roads. It's starting to drive me nuts. I've driven my fair share of sports cars over the years, even with aggressively modified suspensions. There's just no way this car was designed to be THIS uncomfortable and noisy. It's making simple daily driving duties an annoyance.

The first obvious culprit are these run-flats, which I hate by default because well, run-flats.

The second thing, I'm starting to regret not getting the magnetic ride suspension; surely that would make a difference?

Am I being unfair here? Does the car need more time to settle? I planned on keeping the run flats until the rear went but now I'm just considering going for the nuclear option and replacing them right now. Does anyone have recommendations or can talk about the impact going from the runflats to non-RF?
Mine is a 1SS 6speed with Mag ride, 20" black 5 spoke rims on 3rd set of cooper tires and very comfortable. Also have the dual mode exhaust that I keep in sport mode and the sound is even comfortable.

the run flats are like riding on rubber bands... still, way more comfortable (T4 RS on 20's) than my old 2002 WS6 Trans Am.

Have a ‘23 SS convertible and rides like a dream…you might want to check to ensure that you’re shipping spacers were removed and see that you are in ‘touring’ mode to ensure the smoothest ride. Other than that 🤔.

I just bought a 23 one LT 20 inch rims with run flats. I hate them. Not sure what tire pressure is recommended on the SS but on the V6 it’s 33 pounds. I always run mine a little softer. Maybe 32 pounds. I’ve always run my Camaros with the tire pressure a little lower than they suggest and I have gotten 60,000 miles out of my tires no problem

My 5th Gen 1SS rode better/sat better (cloth seats) than my GFs RS V6 w/ leather seats. She to this day still liked my cloth seats better for comfort.

It's very possible that you have an issue with a seat, or the tires... I would honestly just go sit in another car to see if it makes any difference.

My conclusions: Yes, you might be insane, and yes, you might have to upgrade your girlfriend for a new one, maybe with a track package!

Get a new girlfriend ... you don't need that kind of negativity in your life.

1 have a 232SS1LE as my daily and have zero issues. It's a sports car and some things are to be expected. However, those are drowned out by that sweet exhaust note!

I don't know if this is causing the OPs issue, but I 100% agree that cloth seats are WAY more comfortable then leather. I have leather in my 2SS and cloth in my Tahoe. The seats in my Tahoe are soooo much more comfortable.

I forgot to come back and update this...I do have magnetic ride control in this car.

IT is also NOT running run flats.

It has NEBULA tires in the front. Never heard of those and Landspider Citytraxx in the rears. Never heard of those either.

I can barely find any information on the NEBULA and the others don't state they are runflats.

I am taking this to a independent shop to have it looked at. It is incredibly frustrating driving this car. I have probably read all that has been posted on tires and can't be convinced it is only that.

Good luck having a open coffee or bottle or can until you hit highway speeds. The only place it drives ok.

They shop is looking at it on Thursday. The car is under warranty so I am not really concerned with what may or may not be found. If nothing if found and this is "just they way it drives" I will sell it. Drives like crap and I will not keep it.

My 1968 and 1971 drive like a dream compared to this...

Given that you're running two mismatching set of tires, it could easily be a situation where the tires are just bad. Hell, you could even have your rims completely out of balance too. Would easily explain all of it...
