My TPW was 10/30. I checked the chat every day this week. I just tried again and was connected to an advisor and was told it's in transit! It's a 2 hour drive to the dealer from the factory so it will show up this week as long as all goes well.

Good news - as of today, my car is showing up on my dealership's website including the window sticker.

Also checked the chevrolet.com online inventory, and it's showing up there as 'In Transit' as well. Getting close!

How much lead time on avg. have others experienced from when their cars / window stickers started popping up dealers / chevy website, to when they actually took delivery?

I’ve been a silent lurker for a while now, but finally, today, I’m out of the waiting room as well, and I just had to share this beauty with everyone I should be able to take delivery on Monday, can’t wait!!!
Then, off to get PPF, ceramic and tint, and then figure out somewhere to get the 1LE wheels, the ground effects package, and join the big wang gang

I’m out of the waiting room also. Picked up the 2SS 1LE yesterday in Phoenix. I’ll never return to Courtesy Chevrolet again. 2 1/2 hours of screwing around, wasting time and I was paying for the car, no financing. The people were nice enough, but the place is totally disorganized and they seem to enjoy keeping you waiting. If the waiting tactic is supposed to make me spend more money or enjoy the experience, it didn’t work. Small town, small dealers are much better at appreciating their customers.

Dealerships are sort of like doctors. They don't mind making your wait.

Maybe I've missed your comments about what you intend to do with the ZLE. Are you keeping it?

Yes, I’m keeping the ZLE. I was so ready to leave the dealership that I didn’t even take photos. They only sprayed the car off rather than run it through the car wash, so it needs a good cleaning. They did leave all the plastics on the car and didn’t mount the license plate holder, so at least they got those things right. Quite the experience……and then they reminded me to only give them 5 stars when I get the GM survey……..uh, sure!

I surmised that you would be keeping the ZLE. I don't blame you. I'm actually now thinking about keeping my 1LE. After December 7 GM won't build any more.

Are you driving the 1LE back from AZ? I really like Riptide Blue. The ZL1 I had on order was going to be that color.

We have a home in the Phoenix area, so I’ll keep it here until next Spring/Summer. Then I’ll have to decide if it goes to ND or stays in AZ. Don’t sell your 1LE until you’ve thought about it for a long time. You can’t get another one.

Gotcha. I was wondering why you were buying a 1LE in AZ unless you couldn't find one nearby. Arizona is a much better place to be in the winter than North Dakota. That's a nice option to be able to spend winters in the southern part of the country and summers in the norther part.

I actually had the same car ordered from my dealer, but the only 24 allocation they got was a V6. I located a 2SS 1LE Riptide here in Phoenix and made a deal on it before it shipped from Lansing. My friend at GM suggested I try to find a car because he knew my dealer wasn’t going to get an allocation for it.
