2ss Convertible Collectors Edition

Ok guys need an opinion. I've been on the list for a ZL1 CE coupe manual at a pretty large dealership for awhile now I actually ordered my 24 sharkskin the same day, 2 different dealers. They called me today and said the regional rep said no new allocations were going to be given for any camaros. Here is the delima, he does have an allocation for a 2ss CE vert auto that he said I can have at MSRP. It's not what I want but would I be dumb to not take it? How will the value be vs a ZL1? I was buying the CE as an investment or maybe flip quickly? Thanks Rooster

Just my opinion but I think that the numbered ZL1's CE's will hold their value better than the non numbered CE's. When you consider that it is going to be the last year of the ICE Camaro as we know it I think they will do better than previous years.

The time it would take to make a significant amount of money on the car would likely take longer than many other safer forms of investing. Buy the car to enjoy

They have produced 323 cars in Panther Black Metallic as of last week that we know of, of those 126 are convertibles. 18 manuals and 108 automatics in the soft tops.

A 2SS vert is a great car! If you want a V8 convertible, grab it. If you're set on a ZL1, then buy used or whatever new you can find. Trying to order now will be sketchy.

If it’s like that and you really weren’t gonna drive it at all then yeah maybe you could
