Adjusting your E content during the cold season

I'm wondering if there is anyone out there having to adjust their E blend during the cooler months? With the change in temps the need for more fuel would be higher if I'm thinking correctly and lowering from e50 to say e40 would not effect my fuel capacity. Sidenote I do have all LT4 fueling parts if that's a question.

It depends on what the data logs say. It's not uncommon at all to have to lower the E content if you're on the edge of the fuel system in the summer months.

Yep depending on how much fuel system headroom you have. I see a 1-2 psi difference in boost going from 90 degrees in the summer to 45 degrees in the late fall here in Northern Indiana. I do have plenty of fuel system for E60 so I can run it year-round. The +30's run around 5.3ms in Summer and 5.8ms in late Fall. When I was running LT4 high side I had to drop back to E40 in the fall.

That's good to know and what I was hoping to hear. Gives me a few ideas on what to do next to keep that year round status but at least I don't have to abandon it at all.

Same here... E60 when hot, and E50 when cold to be safe...

I have been chatting with Laynlo15 about the port setup and he pointed me to your thread. Lets just say I'm online ordering all the fittings and hoses as we speak. I just checked in to look at the thread to make sure all the parts in the cart are correct. I initally followed the list provided on THPSI site but some of the links didn't work. I'll be ordering my setup sometime in the next month.

Nice! Just make sure your low side is up to the task.

Overall super happy with the kit. The lambda feedback is a great feature.
