Exhaust tip question

Hey I’m new to this forum. Was wondering what are the biggest exhaust tips I should or could put on my 18 SS? I have the quad tips in the back now that are stock measuring at 3.5 inches. Was thinking 4 or 4.5 inches? Any suggestions and or pics? Thanks

Check this thread:
https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showt...=616385&page=2
It has confirmation that inlet size is 2.5" and I posted the pictures of going to the Red Tail 4" Black Quad Tips.

I like the 4" outlet size - you might be able to go a little bigger but I like the look of this size as it fills out opening more without having it look too crowded (IMO).

Adding one picture of them here too:

Don't forget that you have a specialty rear diffuser (probably part of a ground effects package you may have purchased) with a different, smaller cutout for the tips.

The standard diffuser has more space there that 4.5" tips fill out to the same degree as 4" tips do on yours.

Ok - Thanks for the clarification, I do have the ground effects package (dealer had ordered it along with the color and all the options I was definitely looking for) and didn't realize it shrunk that space.

Yep, the Ground Effects "box in" your exhaust tips, without the Ground Effects the bottom of the exhausts tips are uncovered...

Exactly, those are great examples of the 4.5 inchers I was talking about above.
