I love the pop and crackle sounds, but my 18 ZL1 will only do it for about a minute after leaving my house. Only on deceleration also, after that first min is over so are the sounds and I hate that lol. I highly doubt the lady who owned this car before me did anything with a tune, she babied the car from what I can see with the MPG avg 26ish for 22k miles.

My 16 2SS popped and crackled so much more, I really miss it. :(

I've often wondered about crackles and such, wish mine had some.

I like how the tune of my bike works. Anything below 6k, no bangs or flames. Anything above 6k on the decel if you twist the throttle a little bit you can make all the sounds you want. It's purely when I want to do and only under a load.

My 2017 gurgles and pops in the lower gears since the weather has turned cooler. Noticed that today when I drove it to work.

Weird seeing grown men post about and actually discuss "gurgles" and "burbles" is all.

1 person takes the Fast and Furious franchise alittle to serious and now we have people wanting "burble" tunes and flames out the exhaust.

My brand new '24 ZL1 Panther pops a lot. Not sure I like or dislike it but it does it every time I decelerate. It's a M6 and completely stock with 25 miles on it. My '19 Z06 doesn't do it at all and it is also stock. The other thing I noticed is that how much more I can hear the blower whine in the ZL1 vs the Z06. I find this odd as well. Just thought I'd share.

It's so you can mimic the nosepicking kid next door who modded his Civic. Not a fan personally. If there was an easy way to stop it without killing the rest of the sound I'd do it.

Add me to the "Not a fan" list. So far that's the only thing I don't like about the car, I'm sure it can be remedied (after the warranty expires).

Well I'm a fan of the bubbles, pops, gurgles, hermabergurgles (as Fran calls them) or whatever you call them. My wife says the car sounds like it is popping popcorn 🍿. Somehow I think she is related to Fran.

Regardless, my 1LE does it a lot. My ZL1 does it less often and the pops and gurgles aren't quite as loud. I wonder if that is due to the supercharger.

It's easy to tune out of the car and it doesn't affect anything but the burbles.
