I did some canyon carving today. Slow ass bastards kept getting in the way!

EDIT: and For the record in 50°F temps and the tires did just fine.

Love the lights, still on the fence with the fuel door, I like the smooth look a lot.

Thanks brother. Glad I saw your post. Yeah, the black fuel door is a must have. I also had it on my silver 2018 RS.

Happens every time. Last week I got stuck behind a horse trailer. Even the backroads are clogged recently I guess with people leaf peeping and pumpkin picking etc.

Thanks! Honestly I didn't even consider the clear ones. Perhaps I should have, but I'm digging the white and black theme even more every time I make a change.

Thanks Fran! I really like the fuel door. It literally takes two minutes to change. I've had one now on both my 6 gens. I think they look great on lighter colors and on the 1LE and ZL1 they tie back in to the trim on the cars.

I've really only liked these on cars that had the gas door color-matched. My GF's 5th gen has it and it just sticks out like a sore thumb in my opinion.

I do like the look however...

Agree. I'm personally a smooth/clean look person myself, so I like the smooth door on my Black Z. Like you said, the aftermarket door sticks out like a sore thumb and looks out of place/looks cheap to me. . I can see why some like it though. To each their own! At least we're driving Camaros!

Yeah, I've seen the "Camaro" gas door on a few cars that was paint matched and it looked pretty good. I do like the smooth door on my car but I can see why people like the Camaro one.

I also do think that certain colors do just look better with them/without them too.

EDIT:

I went ahead and photoshopped the pic real quick to show what I mean...super quick job just to give an idea because I wasn't concerned with making it pretty.

I agree that the Camaro fuel door looks better on certain colors, especially lighter colors where the contrast in colors makes them stand out. Also, on 1LEs and ZL1s because of the black trim both have, like my 1LE below.

Interesting, it does look kind of nice with the gray fuel door. But the black along with the black spoiler, splitter and wheels does tie it all in beautifully.
