I have a very peculiar speaker issue going on. I bought my 18 Camaro zl1 used at 24k miles and I am third owner. It was bolt on modded when I got it and when I was test driving it I didn’t even think to turn the radio up as I was listening to the crazy exhaust and for any other abnormalities. So long story short I only get audio out of my DRIVERS side door speaker. I get NO door chimes, turn signal dings, proximity alerts, seat belt alert, and no gps voice feedback when connected to Apple CarPlay. In almost every forum I read about door chimes and dings, they all seem to say it is integrated into the amp/stock head unit. I have no idea how they are disable and only my one speaker works. Yes I tried all the fade and balance options. I recently removed my passenger door panel to check the wires going to the speaker for continuity and I got a reading. I also checked to make sure the speaker itself worked. Yep. I had read the door chimes and tune signal dings are very annoying so I’m almost happy about that part but would be nice to listen to music out of more than one speaker now and then. If anyone has any other ideas I’d appreciate it!
