Happy Friday Everyone...

Worked up a quick 3D model... Still not the final version, but made some changes to the general assembly.

1. The upper and lower hoops will now be a one-piece round tube, that sets into the wider 1.5" x 2" vertical support.
2. Will be adding compression sleeves to the (8) bolt locations.
3. Will be boxing the outside ends of the stacked 1x2.
4. Will be passing the stacked 1x2 through the verticals for better strength, which will also push the vertical another 3/8" away from the HX.
5. All parts will be laser cut for better precision.
6. Not shown here, but 2 small changes to the air deflector fitment.

So, here is the call to action. I crunched some numbers, reviewed the previous "interested" list... and am ready to move forward with a first batch of (15).

Cost: $1,500 (primed and painted) includes packaging (shipping cost extra)
Deduct approx. $150 to ship this out without paint or primer.

Once I can get (15) committed orders, I will pull my car apart again, create the jig, install instructions, order new parts, test again, make any final adjustments, before building. I would be asking for a $400 deposit, and should be able to ship all (15) in about 4 weeks.

That's a great question.... and I do not know the answer... I know there are some install instructions with photos around here, if you send them to me, I can try an evaluate based on the photos.

Found this... looks like my design would not. Would need to create an alternate design, which I would do... if there were at least (15) people who wanted one, and someone could send me the intercooler to mount on my car, to work with for a week or two. Let me know. Thoughts?

I would definitely be down for one if I didn't have a bumper tank for my chiller. Design is awesome though!

I would have no use currently but it they fit the SS also you could post there also. It does look appealing though.

I don’t think it will work as the bumper cover opening is not the same on an SS vs ZL1. ZL1 has a bigger opening and this custom crash bar is designed to work with that bigger opening.
