Same here. My ZL1 is sitting at the dealership just a few miles away, but I have business trips starting tomorrow that are going to keep me out of town until Wednesday night so Thursday is the earliest I can pick it up.

Not sure what code this is but the virtual assistant says this when I type my order number

"Your vehicle order has been accepted by General Motors and is moving toward the production process."

I this a lock in for the build or could it still go south on me?

It's a nice way of telling you that you're at event code 1100

It's at event 2000 or better. 3000 is locked in. Your dealer can easily and quickly find out the exact status.

No, an 1100 is "Your dealer has successfully submitted your order to GM and awaiting approval" or something like that. Let me look, I'll find it, but he is well past 1100.

Coop 63, hopefully you are actually further than 1100, but if chevy chat says "Your vehicle order has been accepted by General Motors and is moving toward the production process." it is their nice way of blowing off the buyer, and they no longer give out event codes.

I had a chevy truck tthat took 10 months from order date to when it showed up at the dealer and for most of those 10 moths all I heard from chevy chat was "Your vehicle order has been accepted by General Motors and is moving toward the production process." all while I was stuck at 1100

I suspect the reason they no longer give out event codes is people started getting pissed at being stuck at 1100 forever and the bullshit line of "Your vehicle order has been accepted by General Motors and is moving toward the production process." makes the buyer feel like the ball is rolling, If you have an allocation, you'd be past 1100

Ask tour dealer on Saturday for your event code, then post what it is. Best of luck!

Thanks for that info about them no longer giving out event codes, Iconic. Every time I've emailed GM Social Media to ask about my event code, they respond with a generic statement and zero detail. Now I know why. Pretty bad that customer service doesn't reply with a, "We no longer share status codes, but we can tell you that your vehicle..." They prefer to act like they barely read your email and leave you hanging.

Mine got built Sept 11, sat in overflow for a month, and now finally headed to railway yard in Chicago to come to Alberta. Expected ETA Oct 26-29 just in time for winter. So once it arrives I have a 4 hr drive down with my truck and trailer to pick it up and bring her home to sit on the hoist until May next yr. So sad.
