I see your point, however, It would make me more nervous that without the epoxy, the aluminum was too thin. The epoxy that Kong uses is stronger than the aluminum that it replaces, so I'd rather have epoxy than thin aluminum. I have an X-Port on my car and have road course tracked the car several times with it.

Are you doing anything besides the X port to help with cooling? |

Yes. I have Weapon-X center and aux heat exchangers, Boost freeze chiller, and a PWR oil cooler. The chiller doesn't really do anything on track, it is mostly for the street in the Texas heat.

I bought my Kong X-port during a black Friday deal, and it took 14 days till it was back at my house. I checked the tracking number, and it took 6 days just to get there, so very fast turnaround in my opinion.

I’ve been running the X Port for about a year and half with no issues.

I think that's why a lot of shops use Kong. He's got a more business-oriented approach with shorter turn times, I've heard.

Greg at Kong has always been great to deal with. Have done a few LT4 units with him and he has a 2650 for a combo I'm building right now. Much more customer service focused then the others. Synergy use to be awesome, but Rick sold the company and is no longer there.
