Indoor Car Cover Recommendation

Hi fellow Camaro 6 gen enthusiasts -

I just took possession of a 2024 Camaro 2SS convertible. I'm going keep it covered in my garage, but would like to get the experts' opinions on the best indoor car cover to keep the car in great condition. Lots of different covers out there. Many thanks in advance. Tommy23

CoverCraft 5 layer indoor cover for my ZLE. Prior to this cover, I’ve always bought 5 layer outdoor covers even though they were only used indoors. This one is supposed to be better for dust control. All of the covers I’ve bought work well.

After shopping around many brands and sites, l picked up the CoverCraft 5 layer mentioned above from the CoverCraft store on Amazon for $244 shipped. Have yet to receive, but seems like best cover at that price point.

Got mine off of www.shopchevyparts.com. Used it the first time last winter and it was great! SUPER soft and high quality! Would definitely buy one again if needed.(sorry for the sideways pic!)

Mine is the OEM GM indoor cover, part number 23457478, see here: https://www.ebay.com/itm/262602652246. Very high quality, soft on the inside, patterned with the Gen 6 shield emblem, comes in a nice carrying bag with a large emblem on the side. Fits every Camaro trim (except maybe the ZL1 1LE with the big waaang, I'm not sure it would not stretch all the way to the bottom of the rear bumper on that trim), although it is made primarily for the coupe with a sharkfin roof antenna pocket that a vert doesn't need.

In all honesty, I haven't used it in the past two years, if you want mine, DM me, it's in perfect condition and we can figure out a much better price than new.

Indoor I would get the softest cover you can find, I have a Cal Cover plush weave soft cotton cover. Not sure if you have experience with car covers but I have learned no matter how careful you are taking covers on and off will scratch and cause swirl marks. I only use my cover when the car is going to sit for more than a week and only use after the car has been washed and dried.

Is that going to be the same one that comes with the car if you order it with the car? I'm wondering about how it will fit with the wing...

My car came with the dealer ordered car cover in red with out ZL1 logo and it fits perfectly with my factory ZLE wing

Edit: damn it looks like they charge $100 more now for the ZL1 logo

Awesome. Thank you. I'm sure GM wouldn't send a cover that didn't fit...

Nah, mine is also an orderable option, but it has the 6th gen Camaro shield logo, not the ZL1 one. I guess you may not want to risk it with the big wing and just get the ZL1 specific one (unless you live relatively close to me and are willing to drive by to give it a try).

I have the Dustop cover and I like it. It has been retired and I believe replaced with the DustForce cover. They are both soft and tightly woven to keep dust off of the car. I've left mine covered in a storage unit for 5-6 months and found nothing on the paint when I removed it (Summit White).

Holda offers a breathable indoor cover that will avoid gathering moisture which allows your paint to fume naturally for 6th gen Coupe Camaros. It comes with the Camaro logo in the front, and transport bag to store the cover when not in use.

With the racing stripes, my car even looks fast while stored for winter.
This one has worked great for me.
