Dang. I might be able to squeeze out a couple of more weeks but on that path. 🥃 cheers to a great year.

What winter? The temperature was 60 degrees today in Jamestown, ND. You really don't want to drive the car till next April or May? I would go crazy... it was bad enough to have to call it a year back in NJ in early December, but doing it the first week of October, well that's painful.

I have many other things to get ready before winter……gardens cleaned up and tilled. Bee hives fed, treated for mites, wrapped and insulated. Property mowed, fertilized, sprayed. And on and on. It’s only an occasional driver anyway. The 24 SS will be kept at our winter home, so I should have more time to drive that one. Our high temps this coming week are high 40’s, low 50’s and overnight lows in the 30’s. I wouldn’t drive the ZLE in those temps anyway. Enjoy your warm temps in Tennessee!

How would you like some Buttercup Squash? I picked 293 of them before last night’s freeze. Or a few pumpkins I grow for the neighbors kids. Come on up!

That makes sense then, especially if you're on stock SC3R tires. I also didn't know you'd keep the new car elsewhere.

Great work with winter prep, even just reading all this made me tired I had to put in a 50-foot drain section two weeks ago to add the final missing piece to the drainage puzzle, and just digging that one trench was a giant PITA, the clay was literally rock hard (and I refuse to buy a $3000 trencher, period, I'm stubborn like that )

Yes, we usually have good or very good weather almost all year, 45 to 95 degrees (but mostly 55 to 85) aka "Camaro compatible" temps throughout except for 2-3 weeks---that is, if one is okay with some humidity in general and the occasional tornadoes, solid downpours and massive morning fogs. There is probably no place on Earth with perfect weather, some areas of California are the closest.

Oh, what a harvest, and these pumpkins are beautiful, too, I must not let my wife peek at my monitor You're too kind Leonard, I can't commit to a 2 * 20-hour drive now , but I promise to pay you a visit when I'm in the Chicago area for work. I'd love to discuss GM topics with you off the record anyway

The Goodyear Supercar tires crack in freezing temps. The SS is a year round car, the ZL1 just won't be driving in low temps. On warmer days It'll get out, I don't need to winterize in OK.

Went out for a nice ride to celebrate her 1st birthday (actually was a couple weeks ago). This time of year in Jersey is great to hit the back twisty roads with the foliage starting to pop. Glad I live in this part of the state. Nothing like rowing through the gears and pushing the car a little bit.

Also hit the 3,000 mile mark on today's trip, and still I can't say enough good things about this car. Such a composed chassis with excellent handling and a great powertrain. Need to get some nicer shots in the future with a better background and a little bit cleaner of a car.

After owning this car and keeping it completely stock for 5 years, I finally pulled the trigger on some cosmetic updates over the course of the past month. I just finished installing everything and wanted to share bc I love how it came out.

Updates include:
  • EOS ZL1 front splitter and side skirts
  • Re-badged entire car
  • GM dark tailights and smoked reflectors
  • 20% tint
  • Re-wrap factory hood wrap

Crappy day yesterday but got the car washed (first time since coming back from camarofest). Cleaned up for Saturday’s cars and coffee at IMS. Only a few more events left

I agree with Arpad, it looks very sinister!
