Hey everyone. Having an issue with launching on drag strips. Sometimes I think it's me, other times I think it's the tune or the car. I'm currently running a ss 1le with a 3L whipple, 1 7/8s headers, 103 throttle body, and rotofab big gulp with e40-50.

Obviously if I take of easy or ride the clutch out, I'm good. If I dump the clutch, and spin the tires, the traction control will come on regardless if I'm in race, competition sport, or any competition mode in track. If the traction is off, obviously I'll spin out.

What's crazy is even if I take off normal with minimal spin, the car bangs in the rear end from in the slipping, and the traction control will shut the car off, and then start up with my foot on the gas, and go. Also, if I'm racing from a dig, and if whether I take off fine, or have that same issue- I shift into second and once in a blue moon, it will die out in second.

I had one instance where the dash said "Reduced power, reduce clutch usage" then took off.

Also you feel the car bogging out. Like it's running out of fuel. I'm not sure.
