not sure how Ford plans to sell all EV's online since i think its the law you have to buy from a dealer to "protect the people" hahaha, ant that a load of bull now a days, but maybe we'll all have this soon from here on out.

I think the law says that you cannot have your own "dealership", own - from the manufacturer. Michigan has that stupid law, but they sell Tesla's somehow. Tesla has few "galleries" where you can take it for a ride and you just order online.

true, idk how they do it either. maybe its an EV thing and the govt lets it fly cause they want EVs vs gas powdered on the road.

Once I got to the dealer, they told me GM corporate gave them the car to be sold as new. And it was a PEP/display car?? They assume it made the autoshow rounds and a few parades. And on top of that, it was supposed to have like 6k miles but when it was delivered COVID had just shut down the world, so it was likely only used for a few weeks. Then it was in storage in Michigan at some lot where GM stores all their press cars.

The car looked pretty flawless and only had 187 miles, so I took it even with the story. I have inquired within GM and they will not give me any info for what it was used for. The dealer/service department said its in service was back in January of 21, but there was ZERO service history.

Long story short, it came with a 75k GM bumper to bumper warranty. I have put 2600 miles on it. And aside from the stupid rearview camera not working, its been a flawless car. Nothing out of the ordinary. All I know is I had the chance to get what was likely the LAST shock ZL1 or 21 camaro for that matter to be sold new. And check out the dealer delivered to on the window sticker. I bet your sticker doesnt have that... How cool is that?

Internally billed car, probably an early VIN# for thay year as well.

Unfortunately it looks like OP’s account was suspended.. but mine was very similar. Looks like a GM owned car. Purchased it new as a leftover in 22 with 26 miles on it. Was a press car that was down at Daytona international at one point in this video. Wish I had more back story or knew where it fell in ZL1 production!

It's over 100,000 serial number. It's not like the 24 CE ZL1 1/350 that has the last 6 of the VIN as 000021

For what it’s worth, from what I could find they only made 25k Camaros in 2021, so that 1 which is the 6th number in is a check digit if I had to guess. The ones like the #1 CE ZL1 is a probably a pilot car/pre production unit which drops the check digit if I had to guess.

I have a C5 FRC pilot car that was vin number 00007 which was a pre production pilot car as well.
