2023 Camaro ss $39,300 2015 C7 Base Vette $53,995 2023 C8 Base Vette $61,900 So why GM is not following the inflation curve? Why Ford people want to get in more debt and don’t care about price per performance value? Did the income level increase that much to not consider any of this or brand loyalty makes people blind? So many questions |

Adjusting for inflation: $43,401.55/$48,323.98 2024 Camaro 1SS/2SS MSRP: $42,300/$47,300 I guess I'm not seeing what you're seeing. (Again, for reference) 2015 Mustang GT Base/Premium MSRP: $32,300/$38,415 Accounting for inflation: $41,840.63/$49,761.85 2024 Mustang GT Base/Premium MSRP: $41,495/$46,015 As for Corvette: 2015 C7 Base Vette $53,995 Inflation in Aug 2023: $69,943.80 2024 C8 Base Vette $66,300 So. . . ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Now I’m someone who would choose the performance package so it’s not a huge deal to me but what REALLY bothers me is the performance package costs 5k (2k less than the 1le) but I then have to pay for recaros (1,650), active exhaust (1,225) and magnetic ride control (1,750). When you add those 3 up it passes the 7k extra I paid for my 1le. The other frustrating thing Ford does is make you pay $2,900) for the 301a package. Imo once you choose GT premium it should just come with everything like my 2ss did. Also no pdr or e diff still and the recaros for some reason are not heated and cooled.

Gotta laugh at Ford being unable to hang with an 8year old car after all this time.
Going to be interesting watching the lightning laps from C&D and Motor Trend soon. |

It is funny and wants to make me cry at the same time.
I have owned multiple Mustangs and Multiple GM of the same (Vette, GTO, 2 Camaro) and a Challenger But as everyone above and abroad has said and the only real thing that matters is (to me anyway) FORD MUSTANG 2024 to 2030 with a Refresh at 2027 will have... Front Motor Rear Drive MANUAL TRANSMISSION slower or not you can get one over the next 7 years! The other 2 bowed out and it is a damn shame

C&D should do a camaro ss 1le automatic transmission lightning lap as a send off. Apparently the track was resurfaced at some point so we might see better times!

I think .3 for rollout is high, .2 the most imo for the 1 foot rollout.

I think they should redo the A10 ZL1. They went off track and bent a rim in the 2017 test and had to re run when it was hot out, in worse conditions. While it went 2:50 in bad conditions, in the write up the author said it might have had a 2:47 in it in the typical morning conditions the other cars were run in. That’s ripe for a re-run!

I have seen many stock dyno pulls on manual and auto trans LT1 camaro's and have never seen a bone stock fully warmed up LT1 dyno anywhere near 420 rwhp. 390 to 405 is a very realistic range for a proper no BS dyno pull.
