New ticking noise from engine?

Hey guys, I've just noticed something the other day coming from my car (2016 2SS) that dosnt sound like the DI noise. When I turn my car on for a cold start or if its sat for an hour or so I can hear a lower sounding ticking noise that's louder than the DI ticking noise for about 5-10 seconds before it goes away. Once gone It dosnt seem to come back until its sat for awhile. I've only heard it a few times now though. I did open the hood and turn it on to look for it and the sound comes from the passenger side before I can't hear it anymore. Is this anything I should be concerned about? I've read that it could be the engine just taking a second to get oil up the top on start up. Thanks for any answers anyone might have. I'll try to get a video soon if I think about it next cold start.

Just a guess- sounds like a lifter that is slow to oil up.

If this is the case would there be anything to be concerned about?

Off the top of my head I'm unsure but I in the past got my oil changes at Valvoline, this past time I went to my Chevy dealer.

If it was your everyday beater car then no I wouldn’t worry about it much. A slow to pump up lifter might go many thousands of miles and not get worse or be a problem. I’d be more concerned on a 455hp engine. I suggest you take it to a trusted mechanic and get a diagnosis. Good luck - it’s always worrisome when an engine makes knocking noises.

I’d go with a Btr220

I'll probably ask about it this Friday when I take it in to get a wheel bearing replaced. Thanks!
