Very surprised!
Yeah, stock and with DoD the SS makes phenomenal fuel milaage for a car of its type when cruising on the freeway. I made between 27 to 30 MPG all freeway with the cruise set at 80 on road trips. That makes a 1,000 mile trip from Austin TX to Atlanta GA require only 2 fillups.

New Engine @ 22,600 mi. due to dealer confusing bad gas with a bad engine.

Don't drive them enough to embarrass myself here.

I'm not "saving" them, when I have to hop in for a short trip a mile away, or have the kids with me for their sports, or going to work where the amazing janitor mows and throws the grass on everyone's car, I'm taking my Honda.

I only take the Camaro's when it's nice and they can get to operating temp. I had an E30 2 door 5 speed totaled by hail a few months after a 2 base 3 clear repaint and the body made perfect(single stage from factory) so maybe I'm scarred and paranoid.

thats actually really impressive you haven't needed to do anything besides maintenance.

A bmw M engine would have been 1/4 replaced by now to keep running haha

Ya, I mean I've had a few wear and tear things happen over the years which goes without saying after 150k but absolutely nothing engine related. Never had a CEL light or any light come on the dash for that matter other than switching off traction/stability control . I also only change my oil every 7.5k which turns out to be about every 4-5 months with how much I drive.

I just hit 500..... After 11 months Maybe I'd win the lowest mileage after a year. Mine isn't going any further until April, I figure.

I think when I was browsing the forum before I became a member I remember seeing a lady who has a 2016 or 17 ZL1 with something like 150,000 miles!!!!

One member on here, Homer2, had over 200K miles on his 2017 two years ago when he tore into the engine. Last I heard he had just received a new block and was hoping to get it back on the road. I've only got 81K on mine.
