Replacing engine builder name plate
Is there a way to order a replacement engine builder plate? Mine had a big ding in it from brand new, and I may like to replace it one day. I’d rather get it now if I can since it may not be doable in the future.

I think you'd be hard pressed to find a replacement with the builder name.
Good news is that dent looks easily fixable. You can likely remove the plaque, give it a couple of taps from the backside with a ball peen hammer to flatten and reapply with some 3M VHB tape.

Once or twice owners have found their person on Facebook, you could try that.

I'd remove it and place the dented area between two pieces of wood and use a bench vise to flatten.

Thanks everyone. I couldn’t find him on FB but I can fix it down the road if I can’t get a new one. I noticed it on delivery and didn’t say anything, didn’t really mind, but I thought I may change my mind in the future. I also figured having a spare wouldn’t be a bad idea anyway, but I have no idea how to find one.

FYI; I just saw the builder post about this in a Facebook group. I think he’s going to try to create an account and contact you about a replacement.
