I agree Alky is fine when used correctly. The problem is I often see it used incorrectly on the Gen 5 LT platform. Targeting stoich AFR on the DI side and fueling the engine 18% rich for .82 with Alky isn't how I would do things. But yes if I didn't have E in my area I would probably run a small dose of it for additional octane. 93 isn't enough for a stock compression LT1.
