LT4 Supercharger porting service...
I'm not completely at the end of the rabbit hole, not quite yet! I'm looking to get my supercharger ported/polished so I can go with a 103mm TB vs the 100mm TB and adapter plate I have now. So I have narrowed it down to using either Kong or Jokerz. I know Kong's reputation is unquestionable. But wonder if anyone has experience with Jokerz, good or bad. They claim 50HP RWHP gains with no pulley after their port service. Jokerz was recommended to me by a well respected source!
Thanks

You can't go wrong with either one. That said, we use Kong and have had no issues.

Both have a good reputation and I went with the Kong X port, very satisfied.

I have been debating the very same thing, but I am leaning towards the Jokerz race port over the Kong X-port as I just am not in love with the thought of epoxy. The gains are very similar, from my research, so it just makes me feel a little more warm and fuzzy inside.

I agree with you on this... Does anyone know of a failure from the X-port due to the aggressive porting, or epoxy work?

Has the epoxy even been substantiated?
Truth be told - if the port jobs on the 1740s were as good (minus epoxy) when I added the 2650, I might have gone that way instead. I think 'Killer's used Jokerz' on his LT4-stuff forever, so you'd probably not get a big difference anyways, unless you're trying to make 900-WHP.

I am not entirely against epoxy ports, but my experience with them is on a NA dirt bike/ATV heads, which I would think have far less potential to be an issue and would not be near as expensive to fix if an issue arises.

We've never had any issues with the Kong X port and the epoxy.

So the X-port does have epoxy?
With is many as it seems are out there, if there were issues with Kong's X-port/epoxy, I think we'd hear more about it, especially since they get spun a lot harder in many cases. And with big shops like Vengeance, RPM, CSP, CPR, and MANY other running them, I doubt they'd still be installing them if there were a problem.

Jokerz, Kong, and Synergy are all top choices and all do an amazing job. Can't go wrong with any of them.

Thanks for all the info ! Now I just have to decide either "Stage X" port vs Race Port !!!!! Then will need to get a NW 103mm or a Katech 103mm. That will allow me to remove the annoying TB adapter plate I had to install to get my current 100mm to fit the stock blower! Then would you add a pulley or keep all stock? My MAT seems to have good temps when data logging at WOT. But again I know nothing much of how all this works !!
