The ZL1/ZLE has wider front fenders than SS 1LE.

On my 1LE I am running 305/315 on my 19x11s.

The front is ET11 and I’m not sure I’d run more width on stock camber (-2.4/5).

Do you guys have feedback on the Conti Tires ?
I have run SC3s, SC3Rs and Falkens on my ss 1LE, curious to know how these Contis compare for HPDE usage before I pull the trigger.

Steering feel ?
Lap times vs SC3 and RT660 ?
Warm up time ?

I'm on my second set of ECFs on a Cadillac ATS-V Sedan....275/35R18 front, 295/35R18 rear. My first set had 32 sessions on them, many of which were 25-30min long. I flipped them on the wheels after 3 days for shoulder wear.
They were removed to try a set of 71RS but kept for spares.



ECFs turn on quick and don't get particularly greasy...once hot breakaway is predictable/progressive and they talk a bit although not as loud as a 300tw. They are also decent in the wet, though I've never driven them in active precip - only on a wet/drying track. I've run them at -2.0 and -3.0 front camber, they did fine at -2.0 but I think -2.5 to -3.0 would be just about perfect. I like 35psi hot.

A very very good HPDE tire that will turn to heat-cycled rocks before cording, but they lack pace compared to Super 200s.

Thanks for the feedback ! Glad to see that you’re able to avoid shoulder wear with them.
If they lack pace compared to the 200s then it’s probably not what I am looking for …
How did you like the 71 RS by the way ?

71RS is a great tire, lots of pace capability, turn on after the out lap, can handle a 25-30min session while only getting a little greasy.

I had the left rear (???) start to cord were the tread meets the outer sidewall after just 13 sessions despite -2.0 camber, and after 16 sessions my fronts were toast even with -3.0 camber. I'd be willing to try another set as I think on an Alpha platform car 30psi should be the BARE minimum to start a session and there were times I went out at 28psi and I think that's simply too low for the 71RS on a heavier car.
